A WHITER SHADE OF PALE / easy piano
Easy Piano Version von "A Whiter Shade Of Pale" (Procul Harum).
"A Whiter Shade of Pale / Easy Piano" by kurzweil7
"A Whiter Shade Of Pale" von der Band Procol Harum war 197 ein Welthit. Übersetzt heißt der Titel soviel wie "Bleicher als Bleich" und bezieht sich auf ein Partybeobachtung von Keith Reid. Er hatte einen Satz aufgeschnappt, den ein Gast zu seiner Frau sagte: "Schatz, du bist ja bleicher als bleich!" Ein guter Songtitel, dachte sich Reid. Um diesen Satz herum baute er einen verworrenen Text, der von einem Mann handelt, den im Vollrausch bruchstückhafte Erinnerungen heimsuchen. Die Musik dazu ist mit seinen stufenförmig abwärts wandernden Basslinien inspiriert von Bachs Air (aus der Suite Nr. 3 D-Dur).
